The Children’s Dental Health observance started in 1941 in Ohio and has grown to a nation wide, one month long program geared to spread the message of dental health for children! The attitude and habits we establish at an early age are critical in maintaining optimal oral health throughout their entire lives! We, as caregivers and you, as the parent can instill very simple tasks.
– Brush two times a day for at least two mintues
– Floss EVERYDAY
– Limit the amount of sugary drinks and food they eat
– Visit our office or a children’s dental office regularly (at least two times a year)
With these simple skills, we can combat tooth decay, encourage healthy eating habits, and build a trust with a dental team that will carry into adulthood.
And here is a cute video about some kids in the UK talking about dental health, so adorable!!!! Children Talk Teeth
