Meet Dr. Brian Adams
Dr. Adams earned his dental degree from the University of Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Since graduation, he has taken well over 1,000 hours continuing education, far beyond the minimum requirements.
In 2012, he was accepted as a clinical mentor at the prestigious Kois Center of Dental Excellence. This rigorous process involved a five-year curriculum in Seattle, Washington, followed by an exam process which included a written exam, completion of a complex restorative case, and oral examination in front of the board of examiners. This puts Dr. Adams into an elite group of dentists that have shown proficiency in all aspects of restorative dentistry. The Kois Center is the pre-eminent continuing education center that draws practicing dentists from over 30 different countries
Dr. Adams is currently an Associate Professorship at the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He instructs the senior dental students about the opportunities and challenges of the dental marketplace upon graduation. Dr. Adams feels that because he was fortunate to receive great guidance when he graduated, he wanted the opportunity to give back to the current group of new dentists.
In addition, Dr. Adams is a board member of the Contra Costa Dental Peer Review Committee, where he was nominated by his dental peers to help maintain the standard of care for practicing dentists throughout California. This committee is comprised of local dentists that have demonstrated clinical excellence in their field and choose to give back to their professional community.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Adams lives in Danville with his lovely wife and two great kids. He is active in coaching sports and working in his kid's classroom.
